📚✨ Happy National School Librarian Appreciation Day! ✨📚
Today we celebrate Mrs. Julie Geer, the heart of our library and a true gem on our campus! From helping students discover new favorite books to supporting teachers with resources, Mrs. Geer does it all with a smile and a servant’s heart.
Her creativity, organization, and passion for literacy make our library a welcoming space for all. Whether she’s helping a student research, organizing a fun reading challenge, or making sure every book finds the right reader—Mrs. Geer goes above and beyond every single day.
Thank you, Mrs. Geer, for all that you do! 💚🦊

Shoutout to Our Amazing Paraprofessionals! 🍎 We want to take a moment to thank our incredible paraprofessionals—Mrs. Prato, Ms. Ramsey, Mrs. Blain, Mrs. Bland, Mrs. B, Mrs. West, Mrs. De Leon Castaneda and Mrs. Fogarty—for their unwavering commitment, kindness, and support. Your hard work behind the scenes makes a big difference in our classrooms every single day. Whether you're lending a helping hand, offering encouragement, or going the extra mile to support our students and teachers, you are truly valued. We appreciate everything you do to help our campus thrive!

🎬 Shattered Dreams 2025 This powerful two-day event was made possible through the dedication and vision of Nurse Shannon Milton. She spent months preparing every detail—from staging a realistic accident scene in collaboration with multiple local agencies, to coordinating a retreat, school-wide assembly, mock funeral, trial, and sentencing. Held just ahead of prom weekend, Shattered Dreams serves as a sobering and impactful reminder of the dangers of impaired driving. Our students were deeply moved by the experience, and the message was loud and clear: your choices matter. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Tanksley and her film crew for filming each scene and devoting hours to producing this impactful video. Your work brings this important message to life in a way that words alone could never do. We are so proud of our staff and community for making this possible. 💚 Please watch this video of Shattered Dreams 2025 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v2GMzkc_6BKa34Vi617m8oO8L90hvTDw/view?usp=sharing

Governor Greg Abbott has proclaimed April as the Month of the Military Child (MOMC). MOMC is a time to honor the sacrifices made by military-connected children worldwide. On April 11, 2025, ‘Purple Up! For Military Kids’ will be celebrated to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices. Wearing purple on this day is a visible way to show support and thank military-connected youth for their strength and sacrifices. Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported:
Air Force – Blue
Army – Green
Navy – Blue
Marine – Red
Coast Guard – Blue
Together, these all combine as a single color = Purple.
