On May 2nd and 3rd, students from Caddo Mills Middle School and Caddo Mills High School traveled to Melissa, Texas to compete in the State Special Olympics! 🏅🎉 They participated in a variety of track and field events, including the shot put, javelin throw, softball throw, 200m run, 100m run, and 50m run. Our athletes brought home several gold and silver medals and, most importantly, had an amazing time representing Caddo with pride and determination! 🐾💚

Our Accounting UIL team had a great showing at District, sweeping the top four spots and advancing to Regionals. There, they placed 2nd overall with a strong team score of 827. Their performance earned them the Wildcard spot—awarded to the highest-scoring 2nd place team—qualifying them for the State competition!

Youth Football Camp is coming.....
Students stepped up their creativity by designing shoes of their choice using corrugated cardboard and cereal boxes. Each shoe was given a custom name and a price tag worthy of any designer collection. To tie in a real-world skill, students then learned how to write a check and "purchased" their favorite shoe in a shoe store set-up — no budget restrictions, just big dreams and even bigger style.

Last weekend, the Speech & Debate team competed at the UIL Regional Tournament. Kamdyn Mathews placed 3rd in persuasive extemp, qualifying for the state tournament! Congrats and good luck in Austin.
