🎙️🗣️ This week, the Speech & Debate Team was back in Austin competing at their last UIL State Tournament of the year. Kamdyn Mathews went into the tournament as one of the top 12 extemporaneous speakers in the State of Texas.
🏆 When the dust settled, Kamdyn had earned the title of STATE CHAMPION in Persuasive Extemp! 🎉✨

Congratulations to Gracie Fruth for placing 3rd in the State in 4A Hair and Makeup for the UIL Theatrical Design Contest. Gracie made CMHS history as the first to place in this event. Gracie and Kaia Kendrick completed at the State contest in Austin May 16th-17th. The girls both learned so much and are eager for next year's contest.
