What do we currently do?

Offer ACT School Day - Offered, but more than 30 kids have to sign up.
All juniors take the PSAT in the Fall and the district pays for all juniors to take the SAT in the Spring.
Action Steps:
Provide TSI prep courses and testing opportunities each semester.
Review student data quarterly to identify students close to meeting those cut scores.Target 67% by 2027

49% of students earned at least 3 hours in RLA or Mathematics or 9 hours in any subject.
Currently, we offer 65 academic dual-credit college hours and workforce dual-credit courses through PJC. (Aviation Maintenance, EMT, HVAC, Electrician, and Mechatronics)
Action Steps:
Decrease tuition from $50 per hour to $30 per hour.
Financial assistance is provided to economically disadvantaged students.

Strategy 2.1: Expand CTE Programs of Study.

51% of students earned an IBC and received credit for an aligned level two or higher course.
Action Steps:
Add certifications that already have established pathways (Robotics, Criminal Justice, Exercise Science)
Provide certification exam funding for students. The State provides for two Industry-Based certification exams.
Begin recruiting students into full programs of study in their 8th-grade year.
