District Goal: Increase the percentage of graduates meeting CCMR indicators from 81% in 2025 to 90% by 2027 as measured by TEA Accountability

Objective 1: Postsecondary Readiness

Strategy 1.1: Ensure all students have access to college readiness assessments.

    • 60% of students met TSI in both RLA and Mathematics.

      • 55% met SAT criteria

  • What do we currently do?

    • Teachers doing a TSI Bootcamp in the Fall

    • TSI will be offered in the Fall and 2-3 times in the Spring during the School Day

    • Offer SAT School Day - 2 times per year

    • Offer ACT School Day - Offered, but more than 30 kids have to sign up. 

    • All juniors take the PSAT in the Fall and the district pays for all juniors to take the SAT in the Spring. 

  • Action Steps:

    • Provide TSI prep courses and testing opportunities each semester.
      Review student data quarterly to identify students close to meeting those cut scores.  

    • Target 67% by 2027

  • Responsible: CCMR Coordinator, Counselors

  • Measure: % of graduates meeting TSI benchmark

Strategy 1.2: Increase Advanced Coursework participation.

  • Data

    • 49% of students earned at least 3 hours in RLA or Mathematics or 9 hours in any subject.  

    • Currently, we offer 65 academic dual-credit college hours and workforce dual-credit courses through PJC. (Aviation Maintenance, EMT, HVAC, Electrician, and Mechatronics)

  • Action Steps:

    • Decrease tuition from $50 per hour to $30 per hour. 

      • Financial assistance is provided to economically disadvantaged students. 

    • Target 63% by 2027

  • Responsible: Campus Administrators, Counselors

  • Measure: % of graduates earning college credit

Objective 2: Career Readiness

Strategy 2.1: Expand CTE Programs of Study.

  • Data

    • 51% of students earned an IBC and received credit for an aligned level two or higher course. 

  • Action Steps:

    • Add certifications that already have established pathways (Robotics, Criminal Justice, Exercise Science)

    • Provide certification exam funding for students. The State provides for two Industry-Based certification exams. 

    • Begin recruiting students into full programs of study in their 8th-grade year.

    • Offer New Programs of Study. 

  • Responsible: CTE Director, Principals

  • Measure: Increase the # of industry-based certifications earned

Strategy 2.2: Increase work-based learning opportunities.

  • Action Steps:

    • Juniors attend a College and Career Fair. 

    • Workforce career fair

    • Add work-based dual credit courses through PJC

  • Responsible: CTE Director, Principals

  • Measure: # of students completing practicum/internship

Objective 3: Military Readiness

Strategy 3.1: Support military enlistment.

  • Data

    • 2.8% (4 students) enlisted in the military.  

  • Action Steps:

    • Provide ASVAB testing opportunities twice a year.

    • Invite recruiters to campus regularly. 

    • Recruiters are doing classroom presentations throughout the year.

  • Measure: # of students with information and/or enlisting in the military

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Quarterly CCMR Dashboard Review with principals.

  • Annual Report to the school board showing CCMR outcomes and accountability projections.
