January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we are so grateful for the dedicated members of our school board! 💚
Our Student Council officers had the honor of presenting them with a banner and small gifts as a token of appreciation for the time, leadership, and commitment they give to our students, staff, and community.
Thank you for the countless hours, thoughtful decisions, and unwavering support of our schools. We appreciate you today and always! 🦊✨

Water has been restored to our campuses.

Due to a water main break in town, water service to the Middle School, Lee Elementary, and the Intermediate School has been affected. Students are currently eating lunch.
City crews are actively working to repair the break, and water service is expected to be restored within a couple of hours. The High School, Griffis, and Kirkpatrick campuses are not impacted by the water main break.
If possible, parents are encouraged to pick up their students from the affected campuses. If you are unable to do so, normal dismissal procedures will remain in place.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Any changes and updates will be communicated throughout the afternoon.

🎄The season got a little brighter thanks to Caddo Mills High School National Honor Society. Our students spread holiday cheer by purchasing and delivering Christmas gifts for the Legends Care and Rehabilitation Center Angel Tree, turning wishes into wrapped surprises and sharing the true spirit of the season. Proof that generosity never goes out of style. 🎄

Today we’re giving a huge shout out to our Technology Department. These guys keep our campus up and running every single day, even when the obstacles are way outside their control. When something breaks, glitches, freezes, or just flat out refuses to cooperate, they’re already on it.
Pete Rowe, Alex Rotherham, Josh Campbell, and Brody Scribner are the behind the scenes gurus who make sure our teachers can teach and our students can learn without missing a beat. Their work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt everywhere.
We’re incredibly thankful for the way they serve our students and support our staff. CMHS is better because of you. 👏💻

Staff Member of the Month - Sylvia Ybarra
Mrs. Sylvia is the quiet constant who keeps our campus running every single day. She takes pride in her work, cares deeply about our building, and looks out for our students and staff like family. No task is too small, and her kindness never goes unnoticed. We are grateful for her heart, her hard work, and the care she shows our school. She shows up early, stays positive, and treats every hallway and classroom with care, creating a welcoming place where learning can happen smoothly for everyone each day.
