Griffis Week at a Glance: January 16th-20th
Take Care of Texas Kids Art Contest is around the corner. Entry forms are coming home with our Griffis students. Please fill them out, sign them and return to school. Everything will be done during your child's Art Class.
Last year our Griffis student, Chloe Crane, won 1st place for 1st grade and 3rd place overall for ALL Texas students in K-5. Students portrayed positive ways Texans could help keep our air and water clean, conserve water and energy, and reduce waste through Art. Chloe did a fabulous job!
Griffis Traffic Change for this morning due to Fun Run. All drop off will be in the front of Griffis.
Way to reach those goals students! 3rd graders at Griffis who reached their AR goal last nine weeks had a Pizza Party today! 💚💚🦊🦊
Hot Chocolate Run:
Race Line Up: We will begin lining up at 7:10. We will begin and end the race at the back carpool lane at Griffis. The race begins at 7:15.
Registration: If you have not registered, you may still do so in the morning. Registration begins at 6:45 AM. If you have registered and have not paid, you may do so tomorrow morning.
T-Shirts: The registration deadline to receive a shirt was December 16th. Any registrations received after this date may participate in the run and enjoy some hot chocolate afterwards!
