WELCOME TO THE LINDA THOMPSON MEMORIAL LIBRARY
Our library is named for a special teacher, Linda Thompson, who shared her love of reading with 1st and 2nd graders in Caddo Mills for many years.
CIRCULATION POLICY
Students have a scheduled time to visit the library once per week.
Kindergarten and 1st graders check out one book at a time. For 2nd grade through 5th grade, each student may check out a maximum of two books at a time.
Students may renew books during their library time if they would like more time to finish it.
Students are asked to keep track of the books. Should the book become lost or damaged, the student will receive a printout showing the cost of the book. However, students are strongly encouraged to look for the book first.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING EBOOKS FROM IPAD OR SMART PHONE
From a computer or laptop on the library Home Page, click on the “FollettShelf eBooks” link and put in student’s username and password (student’s first name, a dash, and last name. Ex. John-Doe, and then library number for the password); OR, go to Destiny Online Catalog>Log In (student’s first name, a dash, and last name. Ex. John-Doe and library number for the password),>Catalog> (left-hand column)>FollettShelf.
From an Iphone or Ipad, download the free Follett BryteWave app. You can access FollettShelf through either BryteWave or Destiny Quest app. Through Destiny Quest, use the URL cmisd.follettdestiny.com and the student username and password. For Follett BryteWave, use wbb27852 and your student username and password.
