Griffis would like to give a shout-out to one of our subs! We miss our teachers when they are out, but we LOVE our subs that are able to step in. This is Mrs. Stettner's first year to sub. She has already filled in on 2 long term sub positions. She is a true ROCK STAR! She has done ALL the things from Technology 3-4, Technology K-2, Gifted and Talented, Enrichment and now 1st Grade. She is doing a fabulous job. She has stepped in and helped our students continue to grow in their education journey at Griffis! Look at this cool Science experiment she did with our 1st Graders! We truly appreciate our subs and the support they give our teachers and students! We have many great subs that are regulars at Griffis. If you would like to join our team as a sub let us know! We would love for you to join us! We are blessed with the BEST students around to work with! It's always a GREAT day to be a 🦊!

Mrs. Wright’s Pre-K Puppes
Being “in the dog house” was a good thing today!
Cruella found lots of puppies in the gym.
Pre-K put a little love in Cruella’s heart.
Mrs. Plunkett's 2nd grade music class learned to play the beat of a song with the drums and sticks today. Learning songs from different cultures is fun.

Fox Family, We hope you are all staying safe and warm! District staff members are monitoring the weather and checking our roads and facilities. We want to provide an update on our plans for Friday, February 2, 2023; however, unlike earlier in the week, the decision for Friday will take a little more time. The safety of our staff and students are our top priority. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing again today, which could refreeze all the ice that melted today. We will communicate a decision via Facebook and our messenger system, announcing if the day is a regular school day, a delayed start, or a closure. If we can have school, both elementary campuses will cancel Lunch on the Lawn tomorrow. We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor the situation.
