Best of luck to the 2026 UIL Film team: Donald Pierson, Judith Fruth and Avalynn Ackenback. The group submitted their documentary, "Why Theatre?" for the 4A contest. Results for the contest should be posted in two weeks. If the group advances, they will compete again, February 27-28th in Austin for a chance at the state championship. City crews are actively working to repair the break, and water service is expected to be restored within a couple of hours. The High School, Griffis, and Kirkpatrick campuses are not impacted by the water main break.
If possible, parents are encouraged to pick up their students from the affected campuses. If you are unable to do so, normal dismissal procedures will remain in place.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Any changes and updates will be communicated throughout the afternoon.

Today we’re giving a huge shout out to our Technology Department. These guys keep our campus up and running every single day, even when the obstacles are way outside their control. When something breaks, glitches, freezes, or just flat out refuses to cooperate, they’re already on it.
Pete Rowe, Alex Rotherham, Josh Campbell, and Brody Scribner are the behind the scenes gurus who make sure our teachers can teach and our students can learn without missing a beat. Their work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt everywhere.
We’re incredibly thankful for the way they serve our students and support our staff. CMHS is better because of you. 👏💻

Get ready for a night full of fun and surprises on February 14th! This is a Sadie Hawkins Dance, in my khaki pants. The girls ask the guys. It's always a surprise. There's nothing better. Do you like my sweater?🎶
Tickets go on sale February 2nd and will be sold during all lunches daily until February 13th. We accept cards and cash, so grab yours early!
Class Favorites will be revealed at the dance! Winners are voted on by peers ahead of time, and you must be present to win.
Bringing an outside date? Forms are in the front office and must be turned in by January 30th. No late forms will be accepted.
This is one night you won’t want to miss! 🖤

Mrs. Sylvia is the quiet constant who keeps our campus running every single day. She takes pride in her work, cares deeply about our building, and looks out for our students and staff like family. No task is too small, and her kindness never goes unnoticed. We are grateful for her heart, her hard work, and the care she shows our school. She shows up early, stays positive, and treats every hallway and classroom with care, creating a welcoming place where learning can happen smoothly for everyone each day.
