One of our favorite days of the year is reading and extending our learning with How the Grinch Stole Christmas! ❤️ No Grinches to be had in 2nd grade!
What a fun Friday in 2nd grade! Students picked their rotation. They reviewed the different states of matter with Grinch slime in Mrs. Herring's class and made Grinch pancakes with Mrs. B. It was all about Math in Mrs. Stewart's class. We estimated how many m&m's would fit in the Grinch's heart and made Grinch Dust. In Mrs. Tollison's class, they used their engineering skills to stack presents on Santa's sleigh.

Last week was Red Ribbon Week and all things 3D Shapes in 2nd grade!
Our TechnicaLEE Bots robotics team competed in their FIRST tournament of the season. We learned so much and had a lot of fun. The future is 💡BRIGHT💡 with this group. They are looking forward to competing again. Go Foxes! 🤖🦊
