Students in Mrs. Herring and Ms. Sinwald’s classes wrapped up our Matter unit with a sweet, hands-on root beer float experiment! We had so much fun observing solids, liquids, and gases in action!

This week, Texas schools observe Celebrate Freedom Week, a time to learn about the values, ideas and sacrifices that shaped our nation. Throughout the week, we’ll reflect on the meaning of freedom and explore important moments in American history.

What a fun Friday it was! Green out day and Kona Ice!



For Friday night, home football games this year, our district has voted to only presale tickets until 1pm on game day. After that, all tickets will be $7 at the gate-credit card only: no cash accepted.

Second grade learned all about teamwork and even and odd numbers. Ready for another week of learning.

Second grade spent the first few days of school getting to know each other. We learned about collaboration and how to be a good friend. It was a great start to the school year!
