Griffis UIL Showcase: Our last group is 4th Grade Chess. It's a GREAT Day to be a Fox. GO Griffis!
Tomorrow is an early release @ 11:30. All students will eat lunch prior to dismissal. Students need to bring a sack lunch or purchase one from the cafeteria in the morning.
Griffis : Thursday, 1/18 Morning traffic change due to Fun Run. All morning drop off traffic will use the front entrance of Griffis.
Griffis: Hot Chocolate Run is TOMORROW! The route will run through the Caddo Downs neighborhood.
Registration: If you have not registered, you may still do so in the morning. Registration begins at 6:45 AM. If you have not sent your payment please visit the registration table tomorrow morning. Make checks payable to Griffis PTO.
Race Line Up: We will begin lining up at 7:10. We will begin and end the race at the back carpool lane at Griffis. The race begins at 7:15.
T-Shirts: No T-shirts are available for late registration. You may participate in the run and enjoy some hot chocolate afterwards.

Griffis UIL Showcase: Our next group is 3rd Grade Ready Writing, 4th Grade Ready Writing & 4th Grade Music Memory. It's a GREAT Day to be a Fox. GO Griffis!
Caddo Mills ISD will resume normal classes and hours on Tuesday, January 16.
District personnel have been closely monitoring the weather and road conditions throughout the day. Precautions have been taken to ensure that buses and buildings are warm and ready for students and staff to return.
For bus riders: when the buses pull up to your house in the morning, students can come out at that time. The buses will wait for you due to the cold temperatures.

It was our first Golden Griffis Celebration of 2024 this morning! Mrs. Ash won the Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes Game. We celebrated the success of Griffis Go Getters, good friends and responsible students! 2nd grade WON the first Spirit Stick Competition with class cheers! It's a GREAT day to be a FOX, Go Griffis!
Griffis Week at a Glance January 15-19: We had a great first week back from break! We hope you enjoy the long weekend and stay warm:) The district will be monitoring the weather. If any changes need to be made to the school day or time, we will communicate on Social Media, the Caddo Mills ISD app, and through Remind.

Our Griffis UIL competition is getting close! Our coaches and students have been working hard to prepare for this day. Keep practicing at home and let's finish strong. We are expecting a GOLDEN UIL Event!
