Mrs. Heald's second grade class having fun classifying the properties of crackers. We are learning about Matter in Science this week.
Mrs. Willhoit’s class has been discussing the 3 States of Matter! We acted as the particles in the different states and then created our own slime/Oobleck! We had a great discussion on which state of matter it was!
Our Boosterthon Kick Off started today at Griffis. Students will attend their Pep Rally during specials today! This is a BIG fundraiser for our PTO and such a FUN time for our students. Funds raised will help with student Field Trips and campus improvements. Your child will be coming home with information today. Be on the look out for daily class challenges. We all love a little competition!
Our Fun Run will be on Friday, September 22nd. The times for your child's Fun Run is attached!

We had an amazing turnout for our Grandparent's Day at Griffis! They enjoyed some classroom fun and bingo with their grandkids. We enjoyed spending our morning with them. We had a GOLDEN time! 💚💚
