4th grade continues the Aloha STAAR fun! Math STAAR, we are coming for ya!
Mrs. Wright's PreK is so very grateful to the CMISD Education Foundation for funding our grant, PreK Picassos. The students have truly enjoyed our art center. They have been able to use their imagination and express themselves through their paintings. The easel and drying rack have created more space and opportunity for more students to participate. The spinning wheel has been a class favorite and allowed the students to mix colors and use their gross motor skills to move the wheel. We also received some drawing tools that provided creative options. Our PreK classroom is an exciting place to learn and grow because of all the many gifts we have received from the foundation!
We would like to invite ALL CMISD parents to our Parent Education Night this Thursday, April 20th at the HS.

A Taste of Caddo Mills will begin at 5:00 with FREE samplings from Fiestas, Fox Nutrition, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Bucky's Cafe, Caddo Creamery, Subway Caddo Mills, and Sam's Amish Bakery.
Mrs. Dennison's Math Classes had a tropical-tastic trip to Hawaii today to review for STAAR. We even got to play Flamingo Ring Toss.
Griffis Elementary is ready to Meet and Greet our Future Pre K and Kindergarten Foxes! We will be here from 4:30-6:00. You may park in the front or back of the building. If you are parking in the back, please come through the soccer field fence to meet us at the front entrance of Griffis.

Kindergarten kicked off the week learning about dinosaurs and fossils!
4th Grade traveled to Hawaii today to begin our STAAR review! We had lots of fun. Aloha STAAR!
Mrs. Poteet's and Mrs. Bonny's Class started our NEON READ-ON today to review for STAAR!!
4th Grade is having Tropical-tastic day reviewing for Math STAAR!
Kindergarten has been busy watching the life cycles of different animals, thanks to the Education Foundation and Mrs. Adams.
We are watching caterpillars, chicken eggs, and even tadpoles. Ladybugs are on their way. We even get to see an art farm in action!!
Our world is fascinating!!
Mrs. Richardson’s class won the attendance award this week in 2nd Grade. We loved our popcorn party!

Mrs. Willhoit's math classes reviewed with Tic Tac BOOYAH!! Students loved showing off what they knew along with their awesome Tic Tac Toe skills!
It's GLOW DAY in fourth grade! We're mixing in some fun with our review!
With the end of year in sight, It's tempting to start easing up, but GRIFFIS will finish out STRONG! Friday 4/14 is Rally Cap Day, a day for teachers and students to generate energy for a victory late in the game! We're getting down to the last inning and ready to add some runs. Bust out those caps and jerseys and BE ready for a day of FUN!
