ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL! 6th graders - All library materials including Chromebooks and chargers are due back to the library on Thursday, the 13th. 7th graders - everything will be due in on Monday, the 17th. The due date for 8th graders will be Thursday, the 20th. Please check everywhere for any library books and remember to bring your chargers on the due date. Congratulations to two of our 8th graders who stepped up and ran for a high school FFA office. Brennan Baker Vice-President and Jacob Morel Reporter.

Watch out Texas FFA, she’s headed to the state contest!!! Brennan Baker placed 1st in Jr Prepared Public Speaking at the Area level and will compete July 5th at the State Contest!

Thanks to Coach McDowell, we have started a Middle School Tennis Team. They attended their first meet this week. We are excited to see where this goes!

When a student walks into the library upset because a page was missing from the book and they need to know what happens next, a great librarian immediately logs into her personal Amazon account and buys them the kindle version! Thanks Mrs. Whitlock!

Thanks Cade for making a difference on our campus!

Congratulations to our two eight graders Sean Amelia and Jacob Morel for exhibiting their Ag Mechanics Project- 3 point Hay Spear at the Hunt Co. Fair on Friday. These two received a Blue Ribbon for craftsmanship and quality workmanship. Although they did not place in the top 5 in the Farm Equipment Class, with over 16 entries, they still walked away winners with starting and completing a project and learning Industry-Ready Workforce Skills in Design, Fabrication, Welding and Painting.

Some of our students competed in the hot dog eating contest at Fox Fest Saturday. Way to get involved!!

Remember your great teachers this week who have taught in person and online since August! Our students are better because of their commitment.

Our only school dance for the year was a success!
