Get ready!!!! We are having our food, blanket, and coat drive for our CMMS food pantry as well as local charities who have asked for help. Students will be given dress code passes and other rewards for bringing items. Please see the attached information.

Mrs. Bean’s Principles of Engineering classes programmed their sphero mini robots to compete in an obstacle course. They had to code them through an app on their phones. It required team problem solving, math, and communication skills.





Our emotional support dog from last year came for a visit Friday. The smiles say everything. One student said, “Gus kept us all going last year”. I agree.





It’s great to walk the halls and see what our teachers are putting out there for our students to see.



Our 6th grade Social Studies classes chose inspirational figures to spotlight for Black History Month. These are a few of them.





CMISD promoted the 212 mindset a few years ago by serving our community where we were needed on this day. Our students loved it so much that we moved from just one day to serving all year! Teach your students to give back to their community.

Jason Reynolds is an American award winning author who had never read a book until he was 17 years old. He started writing because he wanted to be able to relate to characters in a book and there weren't many out there he could relate to.
