Self-Check and Screening

All students and staff should be completing this short check before reporting to school in the morning:

If you have recently begun experiencing any of the following symptoms that are not normal for you, that indicates a possible illness that may decrease your ability to participate in on-campus activities and also put you at risk for spreading illness to others. Please check for these symptoms:

  • Fever of 100.0 degrees F or higher on a thermometer or chills
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, or abdominal pain
  • New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
  • New Loss of taste or smell
  • Fatigue
  • Significant muscle pain or ache

Regrettably, if you answered yes to any of the above for the safety of everyone, you may not enter the campus at this time.  Please contact your campus nurse or campus administrator for further instructions.
