CMISD has made a few modifications in an effort to minimize gatherings.

We will be able to utilize our buses to deliver lunches and instructional packets, starting Monday!

Buses will follow their normal routes to deliver lunches beginning Monday, starting at 11:00 AM.  Students can meet the bus driver at their routine pick up location.

Additionally, instructional packets can be delivered and returned on the Monday bus routes (no need to travel to Central Office), if electronic transmission or Google Classroom cannot be utilized.

Curbside lunch pickup will still be available at the Middle School from 11-12:30.

The amended parent letter can be found here.

Thank you for letting us serve our community!

In an effort to continue to provide for our students and families, Caddo Mills ISD will be providing lunch for all children under 18 years of age regardless of enrollment or economic status. Starting Tuesday and running all week, a grab and go lunch will be provided free of charge from 11-12:30 in the Middle School parking lot. Due to federal guidelines, children must be present, but they may stay in the vehicle. Thank you for letting us serve the community during this challenging time.

CMISD will work very hard to communicate and answer questions as they arise about our week long closure. Many things are unknown at this time. We are in uncharted territory and are working hard for our students. Please email questions to: questions@cmisd.org

Throughout this week, we have continued to monitor and communicate with state and local agencies to make calm and well informed decisions for the safety of our students, staff, and community. Due to the March 11, 2020 announcement by the World Health Organization that the outbreak of the new Coronavirus has been declared a pandemic, updated announcements by the Centers for Disease Control and information from medical professionals and state and federal health officials, the following action is being taken in an attempt to minimize health and safety risks to the Caddo Mills ISD community.

As a precaution, we are extending spring break by one week. Schools will remain closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 as we assess the situation in our community as travelers return from spring break. The district will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation prior to reopening school on Monday, March 23, and will communicate across all channels as updated information becomes available. During this extended spring break, district offices will be closed and all district events and competitions that have been scheduled within the district during this timeframe will be considered cancelled until further notice.
