We had so much fun participating in Dot Day today. We joined students in over 182 counties in celebrating creativity! We read “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds at the beginning of the school year and built “dot” towers. Today we watched a video of “The Dot”, discussed theme, then went through 3 different stations. The kids played Twister, worked as a team to create a class dot, and then we created our own dots that we transformed into 3D dots by using the app “Quiver”. Instead of making a class dot, my honors classes created a dot rainbow. We had a great day celebrating creativity, being a team, and believing in ourselves!!
